This truly beautiful cottage in this pretty and idyllic village Hook, Hampshire, was built back in the 1920s. The property owners have spent a lot of time and effort refurbishing and working on this property, but the one thing they had not dealt with yet was the windows.

The cottage had original single-glazed timber windows which had begun to rot and flake, so replacing them was long overdue, as you can see in the before and after photos.

As they wanted to ensure that the timber windows look and feel was kept, without all the upkeep and maintenance involved with timber windows, they decided to use Evolution windows. As you can see, the end results are pretty stunning.

The owners of this property in Hook, Hampshire chose to finish the windows in Olive Grey and they feature our beautiful timber-effect mechanical joints and flush casements which really complement the traditional look and feel of this 1930’s property. To finish the look off the windows are completed with wrought iron peg stays and monkey tail handles. However, the rear of the property is more modern so to acknowledge this the owners opted for chrome handles to finish the windows.
